I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling. I am not sure that I bought that the H felt he was just being used by the h for sex when he knew how long she’d loved him for. Yes, the back and forth between them got a little repetitive but the tension between them definitely made up for it. So let’s sum it up - the sex was like a day at the mud hole - dirty, wet, endless and ridiculous with a lot of monster trucks.

There seemed to be a theme of crapping all over Remi bc of their insecurities and it’s like no big deal but it definitely should have been. Overall, I thought the plot was interesting, Remi was a talented and successful artist but her family still thought she was struggling to make a name for herself. I had to edit my original thoughts, I didn't even read the blurb before getting this because this is an author I sorta trusted. When things finally come together for them, get ready to have a man who knows what he wants and a woman willing to give him everything. Brick was hard to understand, he had been attracted to Remi since she was sixteen, but as he was nine years older he knew that the age difference was too great. She grew up in a literary family who insisted that the dinner table was for reading and earned a degree in journalism.

There are wonderful, small-town gossipy folks, tight-knit to the core, that made the town seem like a character of its own. This story gave me everything I could ask for and more, with the storyline encompassing an element of drama that kept me wondering, albeit a little predictable all would end well ( it’s a rom com) I still felt the tension gripping me. The slow burn is enough to make you want to throw your Kindle across the room, but the payoff is HUGE! Remi and Brick’s attraction/ crush they had for one another wasn’t just something out of the blue, it was something that was present even back when Remi was in high school. So instead of TALKING TO HER, he assumes all she wants is sex, despite the fact that she had been in love with him for YEARS and HE was the one jumping her bones every minute! After about the 3rd one, I skipped every single sex scene cause I just didn’t care anymore 😂 I wanted to see the angst, hear their conversations, I wanted to read more about her painting because it was so interesting, but absolutely everything turned into sex when they were alone together they must have been exhausted! No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. The digital release is entitled Aphoria V2, and contains the original twelve tracks and four live tracks.

At over 580 pages it a thick book of romance, drama and friendship, I really did enjoy it even though some of the characters names are just really silly, seriously who names their kid Remington Honeysuckle 😆 and shouts 'Holy David Bowie' when frightened. So, Remi and Brick finally discuss WHY he has rejected her for a decade, WHY he married her BFF, WHY he made out with her and think they were something then ditched town overnight. Somehow, after leaving Remi broken and used and on the floor, the takeaway is that SHE is using HIM and she has to apologize and convince him she loves him. Oh and not to mention, Brick trying to deny his feeling for his ex wife’s best friend, who also happens to be his brother’s high school sweetheart, and the cherry on top… his boss’s daughter. After an actual lifetime of him pushing her away and hurting her at every turn, he is somehow carrying around a rage boner at HER?So if you’re into friends/enemies to lovers with some suspense and humor then Forever Never is the book for you. how he had a love and need for a woman but always stopped himself from acting on his intense feelings. This is a Grumpy x sunshine trope small town setting, Brick is a cop this time Remi is the wild child but with a heart of gold, she is special in her own way because she sees colours when she listens to music and paints what she sees.
