Description

That means that any empty spaces in the donut row are filled by drawing a new card from the deck and placing it into the vacated spot, starting with the lowest number and moving upward. The cards with the numbers on will be given to each player, one of each number up to the player count, plus 1 also. If you’re the only player that bid for the donut, than you take it and place it face up in front of you. The short play time makes it easy to bring to the table during a night of longer games quite easily.

On your turn, secretly choose which card you want from the donut row by choosing the selection card in your hand that corresponds to the number of the card you want in the donut row. Go Nuts for Donuts features cutely drawn food, easy to learn mechanics, and more set collection goodness. After revealing their choices, any player who was the only person to choose a specific donut collects that card into their score pile.

The effects of a donut picked up from slot 2 will be played out before one is picked up in slot 4, for example. The only question is: Is it fun (and better for me than actual donuts), or should I just go to Krispy Kreme and drown my sorrows in sugar? There are lots of ways the cards can score, so figuring out the combos and working them in your favor is part of the strategy. The game is also incredibly accessible, as I was able to play with my gaming group and also with other non-gamer friends, all of which enjoyed it. Double Chocolate (2): Immediately draw two cards from the deck, choose one to place in front of you and put the other back on top.

No powers are activated if the card was taken from another player, drawn from the deck or taken from the discard pile. Being such a joyful theme really does propel the game into being what I would consider a staple game for a collection. If only one person has selected a donut, then they win it, placing it in front of themselves face up.At the beginning of each round, players will secretly choose which of the available cards they want by taking the selection card that matches the card’s number from their hand and placing it face down in front of them. The Boy: My almost 8-year-old son who enjoys any type of game, from video games to board games to card games, as long as it makes him think. When all the selection cards have been played, and everyone has gotten a donut, or not, then everyone takes back their selection card. Yes, you can simply pick donuts because you like them or because you think no one else will want them.

To start a round, each player secretly picks which card they want from the donut row by taking a selection card from their hand and placing it face down in front of them. After all the donuts have been collected or discarded, the game ends and the player with the most points wins. You have peeled off the lid, and your mouth is now salivating everywhere at the scent of that crisp, fresh sugary morsel game. This game is just not for families though; my wife and I played this game multiple times with several of our friends on our own game night to very positive reviews. You can also be like my family and just play with all the cards, despite the number of players in the game.
